CAIRO, June 24 (MENA) - Egypt's domestic liquidity has increased to about 3.294 trillion pounds at the end of February, registering a rise worth 376.7 billion pounds, a Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) report showed on Sunday. The report pointed out that the increase in domestic liquidity was reflected in the growth of money supply by nearly 36.4 billion pounds equaling 5.1% and quasi money that increased by 340.3 billion pounds equaling 15.4%. The increase was the result of a rise in non-current deposits made in local currency, at a rate of 344.7 billion pounds, while deposits in foreign currency dropped to 4.4 billion pounds.
