CAIRO, September 25, 2018 - The Egyptian-Pakistani business summit came to a successful end here Tuesday with a call for fostering economic and industrial ties between Cairo, Islamabad, and Beijing. The two-day summit was held to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Pakistan. It was co-organised by the Trade Ministry, the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) University, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Cairo. Minister for Planning and Development Dr Hala El Saeed and the Pakistani Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, had jointly inaugurated the conference on Monday. They agreed that the successful Cairo event would create opportunities for business development in the region. The event was also attended by the Pakistani Ambassador to Egypt, Mushtaq Ali Shah.
