CAIRO, Sept 7, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadek ordered on Friday handing over the bodies of two British tourists who died earlier in the Red Sea resort city of Hurghada to a representative of the UK Embassy in Cairo. The public prosecution is going ahead with investigations to uncover circumstances of the death of the British couple who died on August 21, said a statement released by the prosecutor general's office. Results of the investigations will be announced in due time, the statement added. In August, John Cooper, 69, and his 64-year-old wife Susan were found dead at a hotel in Hurghada. They were visiting the Red Sea resort as part of a tourist group. The prosecutor general said that an autopsy was performed on their bodies to determine the cause of their death, adding that the forensic report stated there were no signs of criminal violence or resistance on any of them.
