Update 3: Cairo-bound trains delayed after 3 railcars derailed near Giza

CAIRO, July 13, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) announced Friday the delay of Upper Egypt trains because of the deraliament of three passenger cars of train no. 986 on Cairo/Qena Line at Elmaraziq station in Giza.
The authority offered its apologies for the delay of trains as a result of the sudden accident.
Transport Minister Hisham Arafat and ENR Chairman Sayed Salem visited the site of the train deraliament.
Earlier in the day, cranes and maintenance teams moved in to the site to remove the three derailed train cars.
