COPENHAGEN, June 25, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian national handball team will be in Group D of the IHF Men's Handball World Championship alongside with Sweden, Angola, Argentina, Hungry and Qatar, according to the results of the championship's draw, held in Copenhagen on Monday. The national squad qualified to the tournament after coming in second place in the African Men's Handball Championship, as Tunisia achieved the first place. The results of the draw came as follows: - Group A: France - Russia - Germany - Serbia - Brazil - Korea - Group B: Spain - Croatia - Macedonia - Iceland - Bahrain - Japan - Group C: Denmark - Norway - Austria - Tunisia - Chile - Saudi Arabia - Group D: Egypt - Sweden - Hungary - Argentina - Angola - Qatar The 26th edition of the IHF Men's Handball World Championship will take place from 10 to 27 January 2019 in Denmark and Germany. In Germany the competition will take place across all four points of the compass – in the north, in Hamburg, in the east, in Berlin, in the west, in Cologne and in the far south, in Munich. In Denmark, matches will be played at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning and in Copenhagen, at the Royal Arena.
