Iraq: Two soldiers injured in attack by IS elements

BAGHDAD, June 22, 2018 (MENA) - Two Iraqi soldiers were wounded in an attack launched by militants of the Islamic State terrorist group on a military checkpoint in northern Diyala, a local source said on Friday.
In statements to Alsumaria news channel, the source added that the attack took place on Thursday evening.
The situation is now under control, he said, noting that the area surrounding the checkpoint is being combed to hunt down the perpetrators.
