Metro braces for Eid el-Fitr

CAIRO, June 11, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian Company For Metro Management & Operation said Monday that Transport Minister Hesham Arafat directed to raise to the maximum level the state of emergency at the three lines of the Metro in preparation for the approach of the Lesser Bairam (Eid el-Fitr).
The minister urged increasing the hours of operating the Metro service during the days of the Eid to be from 5:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. the next day all throughout the Eid vacation.
An operations room will work around the clock to follow up the service and handle any contingency.
