CAIRO, June 2, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday took constitutional oath before the House of Representatives for a second term in office after winning 2018 presidential elections during which he garnered 97 percent of votes. The president read out the constitutional oath: " I swear to god to maintain the republican regime, to respect constitution and law, to fully preserve the people's interests and to protect the nation's independence and its territories". Attending the inauguration ceremony are Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese, statesmen along with lawmakers.
