CAIRO, April 27, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday will attend a ceremony that is set to be organised by the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) on the occasion of Labour Day. Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said on Friday that President Sisi will honour a number of great unionists who have influenced the unionist action and served labour issues. During the ceremony, Sisi will deliver a speech to the Egyptian labourers who are a cornerstone of Egypt's production. Head of the ETUF Gebali al Maraghi will dedicate the union's shield to Sisi to assert laborers' support to the president. The ceremony will be attended by Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese as well as a number of ministers and ambassadors.
