Tayyeb chairs conf. of Azhar graduates in Indonesia

SOLO, Indonesia, May 2 ,2018 (MENA) – Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb chaired on Tuesday a conference of Azhar graduates here on the second leg of his current visit to Indonesia.
During the conference, Tayyeb thanked the Indonesian president and people for their warm reception.
He said that after returning to Cairo, he will issue a decision to establish a special unit to be able to maintain constant communication with Azhar graduates in Indonesia.
Azhar is ready to train female Indonesian preachers to contribute to spreading the moderate teachings of Islam, he also said.
Azhar is the lifebuoy for the whole world not only the Islamic and Arab states, he said, adding that the thought and religious discourse adopted by Azhar, the world's leading seat of Sunni Islamic learning, can help in eradicating terror all over the world.
