CAIRO, April 29, 2018 (MENA) – Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Sunday held talks with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian who is currently visiting Egypt. The meeting discussed means of fostering bilateral relations in political, diplomatic, economic, trade and cultural fields as well as issues of mutual interest including the Syrian crisis, the Palestinian cause and the situation in Libya as well as efforts to combat terrorism and extremism. During his visit to Cairo, Le Drian met with the Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit and is expected to meet representatives of French companies working in Egypt.
