CAIRO, April 3, 2018 - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri on Tuesday received the Speaker of the Moroccan Parliament Habib al-Malki at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry. During their meeting, Minister Shoukri praised the historic, longstanding and distinguished relations binding Egypt and Morocco, stressing Cairo's keenness on cementing and pushing forward the bilateral relations to new horizons. The top diplomats also reviewed the latest regional and international developments on Arab and African arenas. Minister Shoukri affirmed the importance of joint coordination and consultation between Cairo and Rabat concerning issues of mutual concern, at the foremost of which boosting stability in Libya, combatting terrorism and extremism in the Middle East region, confronting illegal migration in addition to fostering the efforts of development in the entire African continent, the spokesman concluded.
