CAIRO, April 29, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Minister of Defense Sedki Sobhy met with Kuwait's Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al Khuder and his accompanying delegation. Khuder and his accompanying delegation are currently on a visit to Egypt where they will remain for several days. The meeting dealt with the latest developments at the Arab and regional arenas and their effect on the security and stability of the Middle East region, as well as ways of boosting aspects of military cooperation between both countries. In addition, Khuder also met with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Farid to discuss a number of issues of common interest for both sides, in light of the military cooperation between the two countries. The two sides also discussed exchange of expertise and joint drills between both countries' armed forces. For his part, Khuder praised the Egyptian Armed Forces' efforts in the fight against terrorism and their role in maintaining security and stability, as well as facing the challenges witnessed by the region.
