BENGHAZI, April 7, 2018 - Libya Coast Guard has saved the lives of 202 illegal migrants, including 14 women and two children, in two separate operations, the Libyan Navy reported on Saturday. The migrants were aboard two rubber boats, one of which was rescued by Ras Ajdir vessel, 29 miles northeast of Sabratha with 92 migrants aboard, while the second operation was carried out by the Sabratha vessle, 25 miles north of Zuwara, which included 110 immigrants. The Libyan Navy said the migrants were transferred to Tripoli Naval Base where they were provided with humanitarian and medical assistance before being handed over to the shelter of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in Tajoura.
