Egypt's U-19 modern pentathlon team wins gold medal in Spain

MADRID, March 26 (MENA) - Egypt's U-19 national modern pentathlon team won a gold medal in the men's competitions at the Spanish International Youth Championship in Spain.
The Egyptian team defeated their German counterpart with 3,371 points.
The competition is part of the European Cup for Youth U19 and U17, U19 YOG ranking competition.
In single competitions, champion Ali el Din
Sowailem won a silver medal with 1,136 points. His colleague Ahmed El Gendy won bronze medal with 1,120 points.
Mohand Shaaban came fourth with 1,115 points.
