CAIRO, March 22, 2018 - The Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), Engr Mohamed Zaki El-Sewedy, on Thursday discussed with a delegation from the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE, the means of strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties. El-Sewedy said that he briefed the team members about the recent economic reforms that had been made by the government to turn Egypt into an investment-friendly country. The Head of the visiting delegation, Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda, reviewed the investment opportunities available in Sharjah, which has 19 industrial zones. Mohammed Juma Al Musharrakh, the Director of Sharjah FDI Office, said that the Egypt is one of the key business partners to the UAE, having many Egyptian companies working in the emirate. He added that there were great opportunities for the Egyptian companies to work in the new free trade zone that is being built in Sharjah.
