CAIRO, March 13 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a telephone call from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron Monday night to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations in all fields. The two leaders talked about enhancing the partnership between their countries, especially after Sisi's successful visit to France in October, said presidential spokesman Bassam Radi. They also reviewed efforts to counter terrorism, as well as regional developments in the Middle East, Radi said. He added that the two leaders talked about the situation in Libya and Syria in particular, with both of them stressing the need to reach political solutions to end the suffering of the peoples and restore stability and unity to these countries. Sisi and Macron agreed to continue consultation and coordination about regional and international files of mutual concern, the spokesman noted.
