The army killed 13 terrorists in an exchange of fire and arrested 86 others as part of its Sinai 2018 comprehensive operation in North and Central Sinai against terrorist and criminal elements, the General Command of the Armed Forces said in its 13th communiqué this morning. The military seized weaponry, ammunition, satellite communication devices in a number of raids on terrorist hotbeds, the communiqué said. It said jetfighters destroyed nine targets housing terrorists and two booby trapped vehicles. The army forces also destroyed 100 refuges and warehouses used by terrorists, where field glasses, telescopes, fuel, car spare parts, motorbikes and military uniforms were seized. A total of nine cars and 18 motorbikes with no license plates were also destroyed or seized. Two military officers were killed, and two others were injured in the raids.
