Al Mirage Developments, Hilton break ground on two hospitality projects in New Capital
Published in Daily News Egypt on 20 - 07 - 2025

Al Mirage Developments has officially broken ground on its landmark Hilton Tower and Hilton Hotel projects in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, marking the start of excavation and leveling work just two months after the projects were launched to clients — an unusually swift timeline in the local real estate market.
Mohamed Selim, the chairperson of Al Mirage Developments and a member of Parliament, said the Hilton Tower and Hilton Hotel projects reflect the company's commitment to supporting the state's vision of building a world-class city. Partnering with a global hospitality brand like Hilton, he added, will bring added value to the New Administrative Capital's real estate offerings.
Selim noted that launching construction work at an early stage demonstrates the company's genuine commitment to its clients and underscores Al Mirage's seriousness and reliability as a developer.
The mixed-use development will include commercial and administrative spaces alongside the hospitality element, featuring two hotels operated by Hilton Worldwide: Hilton Tower and Hilton Downtown. The project comprises two floors dedicated to retail, several floors of office units, and hospitality components including hotel rooms, serviced apartments, and Sky Villas. Amenities will include multipurpose meeting rooms, outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, a spa, and premium office spaces integrated within the Hilton hotels.
According to Selim, the hospitality component will offer 250 hotel rooms and 30 serviced residential apartments, complemented by exclusive Sky Villas. Administrative and hotel unit sizes will range from 30 to 95 square metres, with options to combine units based on customer needs.
He revealed that the company had successfully sold out the first and second phases of Hilton Tower in record time following their launch, highlighting strong demand for the fully integrated and innovative project. Flexible payment plans have also contributed to the project's appeal, while construction progress continues in parallel with sales — a rare approach in Egypt's real estate sector that, according to Selim, reflects the company's seriousness and commitment.
Delivery of the project is scheduled to begin within three years, starting from 2025. Selim concluded by announcing that preparations are under way to launch the third phase of the Hilton Tower project soon.
