Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the killing of two of its employees at the Russian Embassy in Kabul by an explosion that occurred near its gate on Monday morning, according to Russia Today news website. The Russian ministry said that an unknown gunman detonated an explosive device near the entrance to the consulate at 10:50 Kabul time, killing two employees of the Russian diplomatic mission, and a number of other Afghan citizens.
