E-marketing company, Knowhow, has announced it is providing a package of its services for managing and promoting social media marketing free of charge to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) during April.
The move aims to bolster smaller companies and help them deal with the lower revenues crisis caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Egypt.
In a press release, Mohamed Abo Khadra, Knowhow founder and CEO, said the current exceptional circumstances have drawn user and decision makers' attention to the power of digital methods.
He explained that the company has the knowledge and technical tools to help businesses carry on working whilst also reaching their target audience. These services will be provided free of charge to help the SMEs overcome the current crisis.
“The team at Knowhow understands its social role. Therefore, all the company's employees have decided to donate their salaries this month, for the benefit of SMEs," Abo Khadra said.
He added, "We directed those resources in favour of designing and launching advertising and digital marketing campaigns for these companies on social media platforms, and search engines.”
Abo Khadra said that, for these services be provided free of charge, the companies benefitting should also provide community services during this phase. He added that these services may be contributions to the state, the health care sector, or free programmes available to students. They could also include free licences for computer programmes, or even simply trying to maintain their staff without layoffs or salary cuts.
