Egypt to particpate in Arab Travel Market Forum

The Minister of Tourism, Rania Al-Mashat announced on Saturday that she is heading to Dubai with a delegation from the tourism private and government sector, to particpate n the Arab travel Forum (ATM) which will be held from 28 April to 1 May.
In addition, she is scheduled to hold several meetings during the participation in this forum with partners in the Arab market.
Al Mashat stressed the importance of Egypt's participation in this forum, which is considered one of the most important international tourism forums, especially in the Middle East, pointing out that this participation comes in light of the ministry's strategy to attract more Arab tourism into Egypt, which is of great significance as it is one of the most important markets.
The minister added that Egypt is an important destination for Arab tourists for many reasons, most of which are the close distance and unity of language, customs and traditions, pointing out that the Arab tourist in Egypt feels as if they are in in their second home, equally the same feeling of Egyptians toward their brothers from Arab countries.
Moreover, Al-Mashat highlighted that this forum will provide a good opportunity to effectively communicate with professional partners in the Arab market, in addition to exchanging experiences and discussing means of promoting joint tourism to increase the movement of Arab tourism toward Egypt.
Noteworthy, the ATM forum is one of the most important tourism events in the world with regard to the international tourism traffic coming to the Middle East.
Egypt is participating in this year ATM edition with a 600m pavilion, which is comprised of 56 participants, including 30 tourism companies, and 22 hotels, in addition to a pavilion for EgyptAir, another pavilion for the Air Cairo company, as well as a pavilion for the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers.
