Al-Sisi, Bin Salman reaffirm stance against Iranian interference, review pending agreements
President asserts Egyptian commitment to ensure gulf security, Kingdom's stability

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman agreed to face the Iranian interventions and continue the pending agreements between the two countries, during a bilateral meeting in Cairo.
The meeting included intensive discussions between the two leaders over diverse regional issues, and both reviewed a number of pending economic agreements between the two countries.
Their discussions also focused on the necessity of the Arab countries' expansion into Africa through development projects that will help confront any interventions from countries which could threaten Arab national security.
Al-Sisi and Bin Salman have further reiterated the adherence of the four countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain to the previously declared 13 conditions regarding boycotting relations with Qatar.
Al-Sisi conveyed a letter to Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to renew Egypt's commitment towards ensuring the Gulf's security, asserting that the kingdom's security and stability is an integral part of Egypt's national security.
In his letter, the president expressed his appreciation for all the moves that have been taken from the kingdom's side regarding the case of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The president confirmed his keenness on enhancing the coordination and cooperation with Saudi Arabia at the highest level to stand up to challenges in the Middle East.
In a similar context, Head of the Saudi Egyptian Business Council, Abdullah Bin Mahfouz, stated that the council was waiting for the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to Cairo for months, as there are multiple agreements expected to be signed during this visit with Saudi companies Aramco, SABIC, and Egyptian petrochemical companies.
Egypt's mining and agriculture sectors will be a priority for Saudi investment during the next phase, Bin Mahfouz added.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman left on Tuesday after a brief visit that came as a part of his foreign tour that kicked off early on Thursday last week, the Egyptian presidency's spokesperson Bassam Rady said.
