El Nasr Housing and Development contracted with Engineering Consulting Bureau (ECB) to design and supervise the Al-Zohour – Mokattam project.
Al-Zohour is a residential project being built on 17,500 sqm in Mokattam and includes 28 housing buildings as well as service activities. The project's expected cost reaches EGP 285m.
It is expected to begin in September 2018 and to be completed in September 2021. The cooperation is the first between the two companies, said Ayman El Hadary, head of the design sector at ECB.
El Hadary explained that the role of the bureau is to design buildings and provide a distinctive real estate product in the Mokattam area with advanced designs and facades as well as to supervise implementation.
He added that the office has contracts with a large number of developers to provide engineering consultancy and project management in various activities, including residential and industrial, among others, including contracting with Misr Italia to provide management services for its Il Bosco project in the New Administrative Capital.
Il Bosco is spread over 200 feddans in the heart of the capital and includes residential apartments, twin houses, and villas, as well as a group of integrated services such as a sports club, a commercial district and central park. The project is scheduled to be delivered by 2020.
"In recent years, the world witnessed great development in the construction industry and an urgent need to meet the requirements of mankind to achieve well-being through environmentally friendly buildings, which requires the existence of engineering entities that provide outstanding studies and designs to achieve those aspirations," El Hadary said.
