The first day of the Creative Industry Summit, Tuesday, saw a unique session under the title Artificial Intelligence, during which the robot Sophia, the latest invention of the robotics revolution, participated.
Sophia exhibits the latest development in artificial intelligence for the machine's ability to interact with people and respond to any question with precision, promptness, and human reactions, which it did during the forum through interactions with the audience.
During the session, which included a dialogue between the robot Sophia and TV presenter Osama Kamal, the robot affirmed its happiness to visit Egypt and participate in the summit.
The session witnessed great interaction, as the robot Sophia talked about the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, which it described as a great achievement, and wished luck for the Egyptian team during the World Cup.
As for the future of the creative industry, Sophia said the creative industry needs to focus on content so that creative ideas can be brought to prominence.
She noted that artificial intelligence represents a revolution that adds much to the creative field.
As Kamal questioned whether artificial intelligence would replace the leaders of the creative industry in the future, Sophia stressed that the two sides are complementary to each other.
In response to a question about whether robots could replace broadcasters and media professionals, Sophia stressed that robot could not replace man, but was made to bring about a better life for humanity.
At the conclusion of Sophia's conversation with Kamal, the robot expressed its happiness to participate in the summit, echoing the famous nationalist line "long live Egypt."
The field of artificial intelligence is one of the most important topics being addressed by the summit in its eighth edition, which is currently a major concern as one of the growing investment areas at the global level.
