The Middle East is home to the world's largest business areas where millions travel every year. This huge number of travellers has grasped the attention to travel services in the region and Tajawal comes in the centre of this field.
A report released by PayFort has focused on the expansion of e-travel services in the Middle East and the whole industry in general. The report said that 80% of travel bookings on Tajawal are international flights, and the consumer usually books their ticket about 25 days before travelling. The report also revealed that Tajawal has provided tour bookings to more than 150 countries, showing that Middle Easterners love to travel and explore the world.
Tajawal is a global travel platform that serves all the needs of travellers in the region. The company has the most brilliant minds in the region and works to provide all the needs of passengers via a single platform.
In addition, Tajawal aims to make travelling easier, more enjoyable, and more available for as many people as possible. The company is constantly working to provide all travellers' needs, such as booking hotels and flights.
Tajawal is by no means exclusive to the Middle East, but it has a special fondness for the local community in the region and understands their needs, from family-friendly destinations that offer halal cuisine, to private beaches and villas for privacy-conscious travellers. Tajawal aims to be more than just a flight and hotel comparison website. It wants to be the place you come to, when you're looking for inspiration, tips and comfort that will help everyone travel at ease.
According to the PayFort report, online flight bookings in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region are expected to increase by 7% this year, with more than 1,000 flight and hotel bookings.
The report, which was prepared in cooperation with Tajawal, said that the website has more than 80,000 visits per day, while international flights account for 80% of bookings made via the platform, while only 20% of the flights are domestic.
According to the report, 60% of the customers' age do not exceed 35 years, with a total of 20% of the bookings made through the phone app.
The report said that customers usually book flights 25 days before the travel, while they book the hotel two week earlier. The vast majority of customers, however, book flights and hotels via the Tajawal phone application shortly before the travel.
From the beginning of 2017 to date, customers have made bookings in more than 150 hotels around the world via the platform. Cairo, Dubai, and Bangkok are the main destinations for tourist trips, while Amman, Lebanon, Istanbul, and London are preferred for family trips.
