Military Production Ministry to re-establish Lawyers Syndicate's headquarters for EGP 77m
The ministry employs its enterprises to serve all state institutions: Al-Assar

The Ministry of Military Production's construction company will rebuild the Lawyers Syndicate's headquarters in downtown, at a total cost of EGP 77m.
The minister of military production, Mohamed Al-Assar, and the head of the Lawyers Syndicate, Sameh Ashour, laid together the cornerstone for the new building that will be established on an area of 1,200 square meters.
According to Al-Assar, the ministry always seek to employ its enterprises to serve all state institutions, whether through participating in national projects or the development of state institutions to serve the Egyptian citizens.
Ashour asserted that his syndicate trusts the military production ministry since it has a good reputation and long experience in the implementation of many projects.
On the other hand, Al-Assar accompanied by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Khalid Abdul Aziz, and Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Hisham Okasha, opened the NBE's new branch in Al-Jazeera youth centre in Zamalek district.
Banha company Electronic Industries, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Military Production, has provided a metal detector gate and an X-ray machine to scan bags in the new branch. It came under the contract signed between the company and the NBE in February, which stipulates that Banha company will supply the bank with 64 electronic gates and three X-ray machines.
According to Al-Assar, the ministry has manufactured these devices locally for the first time in cooperation with an American company. He noted that the local component in these devices reached 33% in the first phase, with expectations to reach 68% in the near future, asserting that the ministry aims to manufacture the whole product in Egypt.
Al-Assar stressed that the security challenges faced by Egypt obligate the ministry to increase the production of these security machines in the current period. He pointed out that the cooperation with the NBE is not limited to providing electronic gates, but the ministry will also provide the NBE with all required products.
The minister Khaled Abdel Aziz said that the cooperation protocol between the ministry of military production and the NBE reflects the state institutions' efforts to rely on local manufacturing which contribute to the Egyptian economy and industry growth.
