Al-Reef Al-Masry to hold reclamation project's 1st phase draw on 19 March
Published in Daily News Egypt on 06 - 03 - 2017

The Toshka and Farafra lands draw for small farmers and youth is to be held on 19 March in Cairo, while Wadi Moghra lands draw is to be held on 27 March in Alexandria
The chairperson of Al-Reef Al-Masry for Development, Atter Hannoura, announced the dates of the public manual draw of the 1.5m feddans reclamation project's first phase. The lands are earmarked to be distributed to small farmers and young people.
He added that the draw for the Toshka and Farafra oasis lands will be held on 19 March at El Mokawloon El Arab Stadium in Cairo. It will take place in the presence of applicants or their authorised representatives—under the condition that they bring the original copy of their allocation request receipt and their national ID card.
Regarding the Wadi Moghra lands in Munkhafad Al-Qattara (the Qattara Depression), allocated for small farmers and youth, Hannoura said that the public manual draw will be held on 27 March at Haras El Hodoud Stadium in Alexandria. The draw will be held under the same conditions.
Hannoura noted that the stadium will open its gates for the representatives at 10:00 AM to record the names of attendants, adding that the draw will start at 12:00 PM.
Hannoura pointed out that applicants who do not meet the conditions and did not qualify for the final draw, as well as those who purchased the project brochures but did not submit their allocation requests, can get a refund on the value of the brochures, after cutting administrative expenses, on 13 March from the Housing and Development Bank.
He added that those who would not win in the upcoming draws can recover the value of their brochures from the Housing and Development Bank on 29 March.
The final results of the first phase draw is scheduled to be announced on the dates previously published on the company's website.
