Swiss tennis player and world number two, Roger Federer, won the title of the 2015 Swiss Indoor (Basel) tournament for the second year in a row.

Federer collected the 500 points in the tournament to clinch 8,250 points this year, behind Serbian Novak Djokovic who has a total of 15,785 points, while Rafael Nadal acquired 4,630 points.
Federer has the largest number of titles for this championship; he has achieved seven titles in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2014 as well as this year's championship. Former Swedish tennis player Stefan Edberg had achieved three titles in 1985, 1986, 1988.
Federer began his journey in the championship by defeating Kazakhstani player Mikhail Kukushkin with scores of 2-6, 1-6. He then completed his streak by defeating the Belgian David Goffin in the Quarter Finals with scores of 1-6, 6-3, 3-6. The latter was defeated by Federer last year in the finals of the same tournament, but then surpassed his US rival Jack Sock at the semi finals with scores of 4-6, 3-6.
As for Rafael Nadal, he achieved four victories throughout the tournament. His first win was against the Czech Lukas Rosol in the first round in the tournament with 6-7, 5-7, 6-1. Then, he defeated his Bulgarian rival Grigor Dimitrov in the second round with score 3-6, 6-4, 4-6. In the quarter finals, he defeated the Croatian Marin Cilic with scores of 3-6, 3-6, 6-4.
