Mainz waiting for Hamza

CAIRO: Newly-promoted Bundesliga side Mainz announced that Gamal Hamza s move from Zamalek is to be concluded soon.
Mainz said on their official site that an agreement was reached over the transfer of the 27-year-old striker, whose move is subject to a procedural approval from the Egyptian Football Associationn (EFA).
Mainz are waiting for the EFA to send Hamza s transfer certificate soon, with the German league starting in August.
The Egypt international's agent Khaled Zekri had told FilGoal.com about Hamza s talks with Mainz on Sunday.
Hamza has been involved in a number of disputes with Zamalek board in recent months, where he has rarely featured for the first team.
He was linked with a move to Swedish second-division side Vasalunds IF in March, but Zamalek blocked the transfer.
