CAIRO: Egypt's Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri decided to establish a national council for people with special needs after the legislative committee of the Cabinet completes the relevant draft in preparation for submitting it to the People's Assembly. Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Fayza Abul-Naga told Bikyamasr.com, after a Board of Governors meeting on Wednesday, that the Cabinet discussed a report on people with special needs and their right to live a normal life. The meeting discussed governorate plans to address the problem of high commodity prices, especially butane gas cylinders, and ways to increase food subsidies for citizens. During the meeting, Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim presented a report on the security situation in various governorates. As for buildings irregularities, Ganzouri issued directives to all governors to inform the Minister of the Interior immediately about any encroachment on agricultural lands to take necessary action.
