ALEXANDRIA: Alexandria City Centre will play host to a charity photography exhibition from July 24 – 31 in the mall. “Art, which is considered a language all its own, cuts across all ages, races, and political views and aims to influence others. It can translate feelings, explain thoughts, and most powerfully – tell a story.,” a statement from the organizers said. The exhibition, which is in its third year, is organized by EMSA Photography Club, In Focus Club, Alexandria City Centre and Alex Agenda, and hopes to bring together over 60 photographers from Egypt and the wider Middle East region. Both amateurs and professionals alike can enter the exhibition that will raise much-needed funds for the Alexandria Ayadi Al-Mostakbal Charity Oncology Center, which will go to the on-going care of its cancer patients. “We are very pleased to play host to the third exciting chapter of this charity photography exhibition, and are very proud to be associated with the Alexandria Ayadi Al-Mostakbal Charity Oncology Center to raise much needed funds”, said Alexandria City Centre Mall Manager Omar Gaafar. In past years, nearly 100 photographers have sold as many photographs in aid of this worthwhile charity. BM
