India's property show draws massive response in Bahrain
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 25 - 11 - 2019

Hundreds of people visited a special property show launched in Bahrain on Friday for the Indian community looking to invest in real estate back home.
The Great India Property Festival (GIPF) began on Friday at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain, with around 40 exhibitors showcasing around 400 projects.
It was inaugurated by leading businessman Mohammed Dadabhai in the presence of senior officials including GIPF chief executive Shekhar Bhardwaj.
The GIPF provides a global platform for Indian real estate developers to showcase their properties to the non-resident Indian (NRI) communities across the world.

"The GIPF is the largest Indian platform which caters to NRIs' real estate requirements and we are currently present in Singapore and American markets and have come to Bahrain for the first time," Mr Bhardwaj told the GDN.
"What we see is huge potential for the NRIs who want to invest back in India and through the GIPF they are getting a lot of options for properties in different parts of India from Delhi to Chennai.
"They are also finding it very exciting because there are a lot of new concepts which the Indian builders are bringing to the NRIs and investors in the projects."
Property developers are hoping to attract mid-to-senior expat professionals employed in all industries such as banking and other financial sectors, IT, shipping, oil and gas, logistics, traders and also those that own businesses in the kingdom.
"Bahrain has welcomed us with open arms and we see it's a positive environment in the real estate market which definitely needs a good buyer and a strong seller with good work ethics which we see is being exchanged at GIPF," added Mr Bhardwaj.
"People were very excited to see the builders whom they generally don't interact with or have access to because they are away in India.
"We've had several investments struck since we started and the builders are very happy they made a decision to come to Bahrain."
GIPF 2019 is being organised by Gentlemen Circle Private Limited in association with Pegasus Real Estate, with Dadabhai Travels as the exclusive travel partner.
