Egypt's FM Shoukry, US counterpart Pompeo discuss regional developments

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed recent regional developments with U.S. counterpart Mike Pompeo on Tuesday in a telephone call, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.
The two officials discussed recent developments in Libya and the Gulf region.
The statement added that Shoukry and Pompeo discussed ways to boost Egyptian-US bilateral relations.
The two diplomats agreed to continue consultation and coordination on regional issues of mutual interest.
