As endpoint threats and user demands for cyber protection continue to grow, Kaspersky Lab has been recognized by Gartner for its endpoint protection platform (EPP) suite, designed to help businesses keep up. Kaspersky Lab Endpoint Protection Solutions have been named as one of the top three EPP vendors in Gartner's Critical Capabilities for Endpoint Protection Platforms report. The report evaluated the capabilities of vendors to meet the needs of three distinct types of organization: those looking for flexible and customizable solutions; those demanding a blend of prevention and detection response capabilities; and those deploying prevention-focused solutions. 21 vendors were analyzed for the report and given a score for the following critical capabilities: prevention, console alerting and reporting, EDR core functionality, EDR advanced response, third-party integration, EPP suite, managed services, geographic support, and OS support – with the combined scores making up their overall position. Kaspersky Lab's total score positioned it in the top three vendors across all use cases, with a score of, 3.56, 3.76 and 3.86out of 5 score for the type A, B, and C use cases respectively, with its products recognized as being a good fit for type C organizations looking for a cost and resource-effective, integrated solution.
