Saudi-based Alayed Industrial Group eyes boosting exports to Egypt to reach 5 million SAR (US$1.3million) within the upcoming five years, Ebrahim Al-Deeb - export manager at Al-Ayed Hoses Factory- said Monday. Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad , Al-Deeb stated that the company targets boosting its current exports to Egypt , which are estimated at SAR one million, by 50 percent to record SAR 1.5 million by the end of 2016. On the side lines of Project Egypt 2016, the official added that the company has three clients in the Egyptian markets, noting that the group always cares to be present in Egypt continuously through participating in the international construction and building materials exhibitions that are held every two years. Alayed Industrial Group is producing around 80,000 tonnes of building materials, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester per week. Alayed is a leading industrial and manufacturing group, manufacturing high quality products to meet the requirements of the local and overseas markets. Ayed Industrial Group includes several factories, AlAyed Hoses Factory, AlAyed factory for PVC compounding, AlAyed Factory for Polyethylene AlAyed Factory for Polypropylene Random AlAyedFactory for Yarn Manufacturing (Polyester Yarn National Factory) and a number of sites of Stone Crushers to produce building materials also the Group has road transport fleet for transporting building materials around the kingdom.
