Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Tuesday highlighted the country's focus on technical and vocational education as a cornerstone for building a knowledge-based, productive economy. After witnessing the signing to launch 89 new applied technology schools nationwide in collaboration with Italian institutions, Madbouly said the deals reflect Egypt's broader strategy to prepare a generation capable of competing in local and international labour markets. He described the partnership with Italy as a strategic model of cooperation, emphasising the importance of investing in human capital, exchanging expertise, and unifying efforts to build a strong, cohesive society. Madbouly also praised Egyptian ministers and the private sector for supporting the initiative and reaffirmed the government's commitment to expanding international cooperation across sectors, saying the launch represents a starting point for deeper partnerships and greater achievements for both Egypt and Italy.
