Egypt's Minister of Labour Mohamed Gibran signed a cooperation protocol with Compleo Staffing Services in Milano, aimed at qualifying Egyptian workers to meet international labour market demands, particularly in Italy, as per a Cabinet statement. The agreement seeks to enhance Egypt's role in skilled labour mobility, facilitate the legal and safe migration of trained technical workers, and create new overseas job opportunities through bilateral agreements or partnerships with international companies. Gibran also witnessed the signing of four additional cooperation protocols concluded between the Ministry's Training and Qualification Fund and key stakeholders: the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC), Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC), the Chamber of Readymade Garments and Furniture Industry, and the European Schools Group for industrial apprenticeships. Gibran reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to advancing vocational training and equipping young people with the skills required by domestic and international markets. He emphasised the private sector's vital role in aligning education and training with labour market needs and praised the Labour Ministry's continued success in implementing such policies.
