Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has issued Decree No. 3539 of 2025 appointing Hany Ibrahim Khodr as Chairman of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) and Mahmoud Gad Shahata as Vice Chairman, each for a four-year term. According to a Cabinet statement, Hany Ibrahim Khodr began his career at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) in 2006 and later held several senior positions at ENRRA, including Head of the Nuclear Safeguards and Nuclear Security Sector and Associate Professor in Nuclear Measurements. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Gad Shahata previously headed the Nuclear Security Department in ENRRA and served as a member of the Nuclear Security Advisory Group (INSAG). Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
