Egypt's National Railways Authority on Sunday operated the 20th train under its voluntary repatriation initiative, helping Sudanese nationals return home from Egypt, the authority said. The programme, launched under directives from Transport and Industry Minister Kamel El-Wazir, has so far transported roughly 19,069 passengers. The train is scheduled to arrive at the Aswan High Dam Station at 11:40 p.m. (08:40 GMT) and will return the next day at 11:30 a.m. to continue serving passengers from Aswan. The initiative reflects Egypt's ongoing efforts to provide logistical and humanitarian support to Sudanese residents opting to return to their homeland. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
