Egypt's Local Development Minister and Acting Environment Minister Manal Awad met Wednesday with Assistant Foreign Minister for Climate and Sustainable Development Wael Aboulmagd to review preparations for the COP30 climate summit in Brazil, the Cabinet said. The talks are part of ongoing coordination sessions to align Egypt's stance ahead of the Nov. 10–21 conference in Belém. Aboulmagd outlined logistical plans, organisational measures and the negotiating priorities of Egypt's multi-ministry delegation.
