Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dien received a business delegation from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, led by Secretary General of Nanjing Cross-border E-commerce Association Liu Yujian. The delegation, which comprised companies active in e-commerce, investment, construction materials, and IT, met with SCZONE executives to discuss potential cooperation and investment opportunities in the authority's industrial zones, logistics areas, and seaports. Gamal El-Dien said SCZONE is working to localise and deepen industry across 21 targeted sectors spanning manufacturing, logistics, and services. During their visit, the Chinese delegation toured the integrated Sokhna zone to review industrial, logistics, and service projects and inspected the under-development Sokhna Port, which is being upgraded to handle a wider range of vessels and cargoes.
