Egypt will not shut down any industrial facility, Industry and Transport Minister Kamel El-Wazir has pledged during his inspection of the El Nasr Castings factory in Giza, the Cabinet announced. He also emphasised that the state is committed to reopening all stalled and suspended factories and praised President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly for ensuring that no factory in Egypt remains closed. El-Wazir added that efforts extend beyond reopening to include establishing new factories, both public and private, to increase production capacity and support the national economy, the statement added. The government is intensifying efforts to enhance the skills and productivity of industrial workers through continuous training and specialised technical programmes, as stated in the statement.
