Egypt's Holding Company for Construction and Development (HCCD) has approved a budget targeting 33.4 billion Egyptian pounds ($687.8 million) in revenue and 4.7 billion pounds in profit for the 2025/26 fiscal year, the Egyptian Cabinet said Thursday. The budget, approved during a general assembly chaired by Public Business Sector Minister Mohammed Sheemy, aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the State Ownership Policy Document, which aims to boost the global competitiveness of state-owned enterprises. Minister Sheemy highlighted the need to enhance asset returns and expand into regional markets, while stressing the importance of public-private partnerships and consolidating affiliated companies to better support national development projects. The minister also called for strict adherence to governance, quality, sustainability, and digital transformation standards, as well as advancing performance monitoring through key performance indicators (KPIs). Additional priorities include upskilling talent, accelerating ERP system deployment, and leveraging underutilised real estate assets, according to the Cabinet statement.
