Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting to discuss key projects and investments in the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), focusing on urban planning, services, and international cooperation, the Cabinet said Tuesday. The prime minister reaffirmed the government's strong commitment to monitoring ACUD's ongoing developments as it leads the transformation of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) into a smart, green, and sustainable city. The meeting covered recent updates on ACUD's operations and infrastructure projects, focusing on the Diplomatic District in the NAC's first phase, known for its advanced infrastructure and services for diplomatic missions. The discussions also covered long-term urban planning strategies and mechanisms to ensure the city's sustainability in alignment with Egypt's Vision 2030, according to the Cabinet's announcement. The meeting further reviewed ACUD's portfolio of entertainment, educational, artistic, and sports projects aimed at enriching the city's development model. It also covered the range of investments and jobs created in the capital's districts, particularly the government district, and the company's upcoming plans.
