Samsung's profit drops in Q2 '25

Samsung Electronics reported a quarterly operating profit of KRW4.7 trillion ($3.4 billion) for the second quarter ending June 30, 2025, with revenue reaching KRW74.6 trillion, according to a company statement on Thursday.
The figures mark a 5.8 per cent drop in revenue from the previous quarter, while operating profit also declined amid lower smartphone sales and one-off costs in its chip division, the report revealed.
