Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has declared Thursday, July 24, 2025, an official paid holiday to mark the anniversary of the July 23, 1952, Revolution, the Cabinet said in a statement on Wednesday. The holiday, originally set for Wednesday, has been moved in line with a government policy of shifting midweek public holidays to Thursdays to create longer weekends.
