Egypt's benchmark EGX30 index closed at a record high of 34,129 points on Monday, marking a 14.8 per cent increase since the start of the year, according to a statement by the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). The index has remained above the 34,000-point threshold for a second consecutive session, extending gains amid improving investor sentiment.
