European stocks declined on Monday as investors digested a mixed round of corporate earnings and looked ahead to a potential trade agreement between the United States and the European Union. The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 0.44 per cent by 11:45 a.m. GMT. Germany's DAX slipped 0.13 per cent, France's CAC 40 dropped 0.39 per cent, and Spain's IBEX 35 lost 0.13 per cent.
