Egypt's Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hano has inaugurated the new premises of Egypt's Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers (SACERAU) in a ceremony attended by prominent artists, creatives, and members of SACERAU's board, chaired by Medhat El Adl. In his remarks, the minister expressed pride in the opening of the new facility, describing SACERAU as "a source of pride" for its leading role in safeguarding intellectual property rights and preserving Egypt's artistic heritage. Hano stressed that Egypt is entering a new phase where the role of creators in shaping public awareness and protecting intellectual rights is central. "These rights are no longer a concern for intellectuals alone, but a fundamental pillar of the New Republic and a key driver in building a knowledge-based and creative economy," he added.
